Welcome (back) to Technology in the Middle
The start of a new year seemed a fitting time to return to the blogosphere and revamp (and reintroduce) Technology in the Middle. After a lengthy hiatus the unofficial blog for Middle School technology at MICDS is officially back online and I am looking forward to seeing it grow and flourish in 2008.
Technology in the Middle has three primary goals: highlight the work of the Middle School faculty as they infuse technology throughout the curriculum, provide resources for teaching and learning in the 21st century, and encourage all who read it to actively participate in conversations about the education profession.
At present, Technology in the Middle consists primarily of recent examples of Middle School technology utilization. In time, with your input, it has the potential to become a gathering place for sharing ideas, exchanging stories, and recognizing the good work that happens in our classrooms each and every day.
Happy New Year and Good Reading.

Thank you so much for these posts! I use all of these tools but sometimes have a hard time explaining them – a scary thought when I’m supposed to be doing staff training for my colleagues on the topic in the near future! I will be reading this in the future and may refer back to it on my blog when at a loss for words – you can check out my brand new blog at http://googtweetblog.edublogs.org, my classroom blog is http://mrsolson.edublogs.org, and my students have a blog at http://6gradew.learnerblogs.org.
P.S. I found you on twitter
Not sure if you’re following me, I’m kolson29 – twitter has proved to be the best professional development tool I have ever encountered
